Our practices are held weekly, barring any larger events we attend as a crew and realm. We practice Sundays from 11am to 3pm during the colder months, and in summer we practice from 11am to 6pm.
All of our practices are hosted at our Siege Field in Tully, NY. W have an acre field dedicated to LARP with yurts to tuck away in when the weather gets too much or if you just want a break.
For your first visit don't worry about prices, just worry about being comfy! Bring comfortable clothes you can easily move in, ideally clothes you don't mind getting dirty or roughed up. As you get used to LARPing you can begin to explore garb types, figure out what weapons you like, and make connections with other LARPers starting their journeys too.
Your first LARP session is free, you should get to experience what it's like before you decide to "buy in", as it were.

The age range for joining Tales of Aloria is between 16 and 99 years old. Yes, seriously. Some very talented LARPers keep their bows well into retirement, just for a chance to boop the younglings.
We do accept ages 13-15 on a case-by-case basis. If you're interested in joining and in this age range, please reach out to us to apply!
Sigh. So, Google Maps has a misunderstanding on where the physical address for Aikido of Central New York actually is. While I was able to correct this for the dojo, the actual address number will still take you to the bank.
Drive past it, take your first left, the dojo is on the right!
We run practices all year! Our "campaign" season is in the summer months, when we shake off the snow and pursue open field trials and battles. During the winter months, we hunker down and train indoors, with a focus on duels and training for situations where you are outnumbered (or need to outnumber to someone).
If you want to LARP, our goal is to be there for you.
